When Gretchen began her Real Estate career in 1980, interest rates were 18%! That is why you’ll usually see a smile on her face. She feels any interest rate under 10% is a pretty good deal, and they have been under that mark for quite some time. Gretchen began her career in the Chicago area and worked with many relocating Buyers and Sellers. She learned how to match Buyers to specific towns, school systems, activities, etc. Most Sellers needed to move quickly and Gretchen was able to help them price their homes correctly in order to accomplish a timely sale.

Gretchen returned to the East coast in 1983 and worked with The King Davis Agency, managing its Bradford MA office for 3 years. Then she worked with The Ben Consoli Agency and Prudential, spending much of her time with first time Buyers and Builders. Gretchen enjoys working with first time home buyers and finds helping them purchase their first home is a great source of satisfaction. Her experience with new construction has been most valuable to her clients along with her knowledge of the MA and NH Seacoast, having lived by the ocean in Hampton for 12 years.

Combining her vast real estate experience with the Bean Group’s business model and cutting edge marketing techniques was the next logical step for Gretchen, and she is proud to be on board. She looks forward to helping The Bean Group grow it's business in Massachusetts. She is very familiar with the Seacoast Area of Southern NH and Northern MA, especially the Merrimack Valley area. When she is not helping her clients Gretchen can be found enjoying her 3 grown daughters and 8 really special grand children.

Gretchen likes to say that she has climbed many learning curves…..some more than once. She puts her experience to work for her Buyers and Seller clients, and always remembers that it is “all about them”.
