Between the two of us we have over 50 years of diversified real estate experience as Developers, Financers and Realtors®. We are true New England Seacoasters. We have lived, worked, sailed and gunkholed every nook & crannie of this seacoast area from Newburyport to Kennebunkport and beyond.
We both grew up in the mid west so we appreciate and love living and raising our family on the New England seacoast. The mountains of New Hampshire and Maine give us the winter wonderland we require. The seacoast gives us unsurpassed boating, family surfing and all the ocean activities that we enjoy. We also appreciate convenient availability for travel from the Boston, Portland and Manchester airports. We have found our home and our playground!
We opened Performance Mortgage shortly after moving to the Maine Coast and were licensed to service Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire. After becoming Realtors®, we gave up our mortgage company to focus on selling Real Estate full time. We work well as a team and take great pride in what we do. We put a lot of energy and passion into our work. We love working with people from all walks of life, whether it be listing, marketing and ultimately selling....or finding our clients the perfect home. More about John: John obtained a degree in computer science from Worcester Industrial Technical Institute and after fulfilling his military obligation, was honorably discharged in the early 70s. During this period, he purchased his first six unit apartment building, thus launching his life time diverse real estate career as an investor, developer, financier and REALTOR®. During John's career, he owned and operated rental homes, apartment buildings, townhouses, commercial properties and resorts in New England and the West Indies. At his peak, John owned 36 units in the U.S. and 39 in the Caribbean. John was the founder, developer and owner of two oceanfront resorts and a mortgage company that are still operating today. John has over 39 years experience in national and international real estate.
More about Janna: Janna feels fortunate to have enjoyed living on the fabulous New England Seacoast. She is a full time Associate Broker for Bean Group and is licensed in both Maine and New Hampshire. Janna started her career as a flight attendant for Trans World Airlines, retiring after 25 years. During that time, she also developed ShipShape Fitness in Newburyport, Massachusetts and hosted a cable television exercise program. When they moved up the coast to Maine after the birth of their daughter, Janna felt that coming over the bridge to the Seacoast of Maine was a breath of fresh air! Working out of their home office gave Janna (and John) plenty of time for their most important work, raising their daughter Sophia, now 13 years old.
