Mark later ran his own successful printing company. In his spare time he designed, produced and sold a line of sculptural, modern lighting crafted in wood and stained glass modeled after the work of one of his favorite architects, Frank Lloyd Wright. Originally from Quincy, MA, Mark has been in northern New England throughout his life, both at his family’s home in Tuftonboro, NH and while attending and later on staff at a summer camp in Barnstead, NH. Hiking 50 miles through the White Mountains at the age of twelve may have been the defining moment in Mark’s decision to leave the cities behind and move to the beautiful and diverse Upper Valley Region of NH/VT in 2005. He resides in the quaint village of Brownsville, VT in a mid-century home he is renovating that looks right up at picturesque Mt. Ascutney.
