Randall DiStefano
View Randall's Property Listings Randall grew up in the small town of East Hampton Connecticut. The third son of eight children and being the son of a music teacher, Randall’s early life was focused mainly on music. Randall played several instruments but his major was the Alto Saxophone. After High School he auditioned for and was accepted into the 3rd United States Infantry’s “The Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps” Escort to the president. During and after his service Randall played with several bands and fife and drum corps but eventually fell in love with building and especially working on old buildings. Randall’s first experiences with Vermont were as a young man taking weekend trips with friends, a canoe strapped to the top of his 79 Chevy truck that was dropped into any accommodating Vermont lake. Randall worked for several years as a carpenter and later moved into the more specialized field of historical reproduction mill work and started his own restoration company. Having worked on several 18th century homes all over New England, Randall ended up on a project in Grafton Vermont. It was while working on this project that the family settled in and fell in love with Grafton VT. Randall decided to buy land in Grafton and built the reproduction home that they live in today. Ready for a new chapter in his life, and not wanting to give up his love of old homes Randall decided to pursue a career in real estate. Placing clients in a home that they can spend a life time in just felt like a natural transition. |
