Bean Group's Linda Gaythorpe Biking for Cancer Research On Saturday, July 12, Linda Gaythorpe of Bean Group is going to bike 50 miles in the 27th Annual Prouty Century Bike Ride & Challenge Walk to raise money for cancer research at Dartmouth's Norris Cotton Cancer Center.

October 2007 | Charitable Donation to United Way Once again Bean Group is proud to have donated to United Way of the Greater Seacoast in NH. October's donation was $1,100. We believe in supporting the community that supports us.

Bean Group helps United Way Community Challenge The partners at Bean Group, LLC in Portsmouth have taken workplace giving to a new level by donating $20 from each closed transaction to United Way. This innovative approach to giving was exciting to United Way, both for the year-round funding and because they don't typically see company giving from the real estate brokerage industry. Proud Sponsor of Reach The Beach Team 200 Miles in 24 Hours! Bean Group is proud to sponsor a road race team at the 2007 The Reach the Beach Relay which benefits New Hampshire's State parks and various community organizations along the way. Bean Group Part of Benefit by the Sea 2007 The fifth annual "Benefit by the Sea" fundraiser was held Saturday, May 5, at Wentworth by the Sea hotel in New Castle. The event raised more than $220,000 for Cross Roads House homeless shelter.

Charity Spotlight | Jaden's Ladder Jaden's Ladder is a non-profit organization that assists survivors of domestic violence with life-enhancing, post shelter programs and support that build confidence and foster self-reliance. We work with area shelters to provide post-shelter care and guidance to ensure that survivors are empowered to take back their lives and become active and vital members of the community.

Charity Spotlight | A Safe Place The Michael Bean Group was proud to be a participant in the 3rd Annual A Safe Place Golf Tournament at the Wentworth By The Sea Country Club in Rye, New Hampshire. A Safe Place is a non-profit organization founded in 1976 to prevent and eliminate domestic violence. The organization provides free shelter and support services for those who need them.

Charity Spotlight | Crossroads House Cross Roads House opened its doors in 1982 to assist homeless individuals and families. They have since become the largest emergency and transitional shelter in New Hampshire, serving eastern New Hampshire and southern Maine. They house up to 107 people on any given night, and their emergency shelter is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Cross Roads House offers food, shelter, and a proven program that helps their residents achieve their goal of independent and sustainable housing.
