The Grouse Point Club The Grouse Point Club is a private lakefront community, located on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith NH. Grouse Point encompasses over 82 acres with an 3 sandy beaches, a 7,000 square foot club house, lighted tennis courts and a private marina. |
South Down Shores | Laconia NH South Down Shores is a private gated community with approximately 450 properties in Laconia in the heart of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Single family homes and lots are integrated with seventeen condominium villages. The community has 4,000 feet of shoreline on Lake Winnipesaukee, sandy beaches, a beach house, two tennis courts, a basketball court, sand volleyball court, skating pond, cross country ski trails, walking trails and a children's playground.Laconia Country Club is located next door. The Laconia Airport and Gunstock Ski Area are about fifteen minutes away. Other ski areas are within an hour's reach. The South Down Boat Club has forty boat slips (ten are dedicated for the Boat Club's use) and forty moorings that are used in conjunction with the 218 dry berths. Lake Winnipesaukee consists of 72 square miles of pristine water, easily accessed from Paugus Bay. |

Winnipesaukee Yacht Club | Gilford, NH The Winnipesaukee Yacht Club was founded in 1938. It was founded on the principles of teamwork and friendship. The WYC is located in Gilford , New Hampshire which is located on the southern part of Lake Winnipesaukee. They enjoy numerous social events throughout the year all having some sort of boating overtone. The club is 100% owned and operated by its members. The heritage of which is a large source of pride for its members. Being the only true sailing yacht club on the lake most sailing events are held in conjunction with the club. Lake Winnipesaukee Sailing Association The Lake Winnipesaukee Sailing Association sponsors various adult racing activities throughout the sailing season. Mixed-fleet (PHRF) racing typically happens on summer weekends. Lake Winnipesaukee | New Hampshire Lakes Region Lake Winnipesaukee (WI-ni-puh-SAW-kee) ( 78 sq miles), is located in East Central New Hampshire and is the largest lake in the state. Irregular in shape, with many arms of significance: Moultonborough Bay, Paugus Bay, Opeche Bay, and Alton Bay. It has 283 miles of shoreline and many small islands. The Winnipesaukee River exits from Opeche Bay of Lake Winnipesaukee at Laconia, and flows 1 mile SW into Winnisquam Lake, continues SW through Tilton Lake and Silver Lake, past Tilton, then joins the Pemigewasset River at Franklin to form Merrimack River. |
