Goffstown is a scenic town lodged at the base of
the Uncanoonuc Mountains and is enjoying a period of growth and
development. Goffstown has been aggressively promoting itself as a good
place to live and do business. It has easy access to I-93 and Route 3,
and close proximity to the Manchester Airport. Goffstown is home to
Saint Anselm College, a well-respected, private liberal arts college.
Like many other communities in the Manchester Region, Goffstown is in
the midst of expanding its school facilities. Recently the town approved
an $11 million renovation and expansion of its high school. Goffstown’s
beautiful Uncanoonuc Mountains, Piscataquog River and the recently
renovated waterfront at Glen Lake set the backdrop for any number of
outdoor adventures. For those who enjoy organized activities, the town’s
parks and recreation commission sponsors a wide range of programs for
children and adults.
