Laconia Bike Week photo One word to describe Laconia's annual motorcycle rally is "crazy". In 2004 over 400,000 people visited the small New Hampshire town to celebrate motorcycles and the interesting people who ride them. People from all walks of life attend the rally which is one of the oldest and largest in the country. 2005 marked the rally's 82'nd anniversary and the future is bright for even bigger and better parties to come.

The event which spans nine days in June is held at the Weirs, in Laconia New Hampshire. The over 350,000 annual visitors typically book rooms months and even years in advance. People come from all over the world to view the radical designs and changing trends in the motorcycle world. Several shops and demonstrations are held, while bikes constantly parade by. The Mount Washington, one of New Hampshire's premiere attractions, is available for drinks and views of the action from its expansive deck. The many sites and sounds found at Bike Week are something everyone should experience at least once. With hundreds of thousands of people in a mere three square mile radius the event is nothing short of crazy.
