About Becky
Becky knows the importance of having a place you can call home. After having personally been through the home buying and selling process a number of times times (7 states and 12 homes), both as a buyer and a seller, Becky feels fortunate to be able to call Portsmouth home since 2010. Selling your home or investment property in a low-stress and timely manner for the best possible price can be a complex undertaking and Becky can help you successfully navigate every step of the process. With several cross-country moves under her belt, she can also relate first-hand to the complexities involved for home buyers - whether moving to a new city, or just wanting to move locally into a property that better suits your needs - Becky’s philosophy is to make her clients feel heard, and foster a relationship of trust and transparency.
After spending her early career in the fast-paced cable industry, including time at HGTV and at a national cable marketing association, Becky decided to leave the corporate world to apprentice, and then eventually start her own business, in the field of training dogs and their owners. Starting and managing her own successful, referral-based business, and helping families with the emotional and sometimes challenging process of successfully training a dog, has helped Becky hone her ability to delve into helping her clients identify and achieve their goals. Her transition into a career in Real Estate was greatly enhanced when she was lucky enough to team-up with her partner, long-time Realtor Valerie Ellmer (valerieellmer.beangroup.com). Becky and Valerie are passionate about helping others achieve their real estate goals and don't rest until their clients are satisfied.
In her spare time, Becky enjoys getting to know people in her neighborhood, exploring Portsmouth's dining scene and taking in live shows. She also loves working on home projects in her 1890’s New Englander, as well as spending time gardening, hiking, reading and playing in the New England snow with her friends, two teenagers and rescue dogs, Penny and Petey.
